Paul E. Martin serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer and has overall responsibility for credit and portfolio management. Mr. Martin has over 25 years of experience in both asset based, commercial and corporate financing and has operated as Chief Credit Officer and Chief Risk Officer in his previous roles.

Mr. Martin joined CORE from First Horizon, where he was Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. Prior to First Horizon, Mr. Martin spent seventeen years with HSBC Bank USA and its predecessor company, Marine Midland Bank, initially in Asset Based lending where he was responsible for managing five regional offices encompassing the western half of the United States, with his last ten years in various credit roles including Senior Vice President and Head of Credit Policy, Executive Vice President and Deputy Chief Credit Officer and Chief Credit Officer. Prior to HSBC, Mr. Martin was with Shawmut Bank of Boston where he was Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager.. He began his career with Bank of Boston's Asset Based Lending Group where he received his formal credit training. Mr. Martin has extensive experience with all aspects of senior secured, cash flow and junior debt lending to a variety of industries.

Mr. Martin earned his B.S. in Marketing and Management his M.B.A. in Finance and Investments from Babson College. He is a member of the Commercial Finance Association, the Risk Management Association and the Association for Corporate Growth.
